Meet Kate Albers, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work

Kate was thoughtfully selected to join our Gray Rock team because of her warm, relatable presence and depth of clinical insight. She believes that meaningful growth happens when we approach life’s challenges with both self-compassion and a healthy sense of humor. While life can be difficult, Kate helps clients find moments of lightness—offering new perspectives and space for change.
Her style is collaborative and down-to-earth, helping clients feel at ease while working together to navigate obstacles and discover practical, lasting solutions. With a background in neuroscience, Kate brings a unique understanding of how the brain functions and how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are deeply interconnected. This knowledge helps clients uncover patterns, make sense of their experiences, and feel empowered to create meaningful change.
Kate provides individual counseling for clients ages 17 and up, both in person and via telehealth. Her areas of specialty include high-functioning anxiety, depression, men’s issues, young adult and college life transitions, and “failure to launch” challenges.
